Woman found dead in San Jacinto area remembered as ‘outgoing, having a good time’
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The discovery of 65-year-old Elizabeth Ann Duckworth in the San Jacinto area left many questions due to the unique nature of the crime scene.
Officials say a call came in just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, leading officers to a body wrapped in plastic and left in an alley.
We knocked on dozens of doors to find out if anyone in the San Jacinto area, where Duckworth was found, knew her.
Those who knew Elizabeth knew her by Ann.
We learned she was a daughter, mother, sister and aunt among many other titles.
Ann was described as an outgoing individual known for always having a good time.
We found several women who shared a common name with her, but Ann is a Dalhart native who graduated from high school there in 1977.
Justice of the Peace Gary Jackson was at the crime scene and has ordered an autopsy for Duckworth.
