West Texas A&M senior Adrian Legarreta crossed the finish line in third place as the Buffaloes claimed a 14thplace result at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The Buffaloes trailed the entire first half before forcing 10 turnovers and shooting 56.3% in the final period to claim a big 81-70 win over the Central Oklahoma Bronchos at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, Texas.

West Texas A&M closes out their season on Saturday as they take part in the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The women’s 6K race begins at 10 a.m. CT followed by the men’s 10K race at 11:15 a.m. CT.
